Who We Are
My Home In Indy was built on a simple idea: homeowners deserve honesty, clear communication, and craftsmanship they can trust.
From a young age, drawing and design sparked a passion in Gary Vickrey that eventually led to learning AutoCAD — opening the door to the building industry. That early fascination grew into a career with one of the largest residential contractors in Indianapolis, where he quickly moved into sales and project development. But the real turning point came with the realization that incredible projects happen when you can see things differently — when you can envision not just what a home is, but what it can become.
After years of working within other companies’ limitations, he knew it was time to create a place where every detail, every relationship, and every promise could be held to a higher standard. A place built on integrity, not shortcuts. A place where homeowners get clarity, not confusion. My Home In Indy is that place.
Today, Gary continues to build lasting relationships with trusted vendors, skilled tradespeople, and the homeowners who rely on him. Every project is treated like it’s happening in his own home.
